A Little About Our History
Steve’s Overhead Door Company opened their doors for business as a one-man operation in 1989. We have grown into the competent, courteous, and respectful staff that we are today.
Under the same ownership, we have continued to grow through the years and have one of the area’s largest showrooms with over 40 doors on display. They come in a variety of styles, colors, and sizes from brand name manufacturers to help meet your needs in a timely and effective manner.
Our display consists of 11 functional doors, one retractable awning, and two retractable screens. Our inventory includes hundreds of doors and operators for both residential and commercial applications. Call us today.
More About Us and Our Staff
Located on the north side of Lafayette, Steve's is an authorized dealer for CHI, Haas, Amarr, and Clopay garage doors and LiftMaster and Genie garage door openers. We are an accredited dealer and founding member of the IDA (International Door Association). Our installers and technicians are all employees of Steve’s Overhead Door Company. We do not use sub-contractors, and all our employees pass random drug tests and criminal background checks. Our employees are paid hourly or salary and do not receive a commission. We have no desire or incentive to sell you products or services that you do not need. Our goals have always been to take care of the service and door needs of our customers, to provide high quality, safe and dependable products, that are durable and give value to our customers, and to support our customers with trained and experienced service and sales professionals. We work hard everyday to earn and keep the trust of the community we live in and have served for more than 30 years.
